The revamped Australian series of Big Brother is now well underway, and last night’s eviction saw George booted off the show.

It was a close call for the 25 year old Perth electrician, receiving 30% of the votes to be saved, whilst youngest housemate Bradley received 31% and Victorian law student Estelle lead the pack with 39%.

Being the saucy reality show it is, Big Brother sparked yet another controversy last night when it aired a promo just a few hours before voting lines were closed, indicating George as the evictee.  Channel 9 took to social media immediately to claim that three promos for each nominee were made and that George’s had accidentally been aired.  However, the millionaire was indeed evicted off the show anyway.

Appearing on stage last night, George told host Sonia Kruger that whilst he had engaged in a brief fling with fellow housemate Layla, the Big Brother experience only made him realise how much he misses his ex-girlfriend Krystelle.

This week will see more surprises for the Big Brother housemates, with the third intruder for the season entering and sure to shake up the dynamics in the house.
