The nominations for the 2013 TV Week Logie Awards were announced this morning and things could get ugly, as Hamish Blake and his partner in crime Andy Lee are both up for the Gold Logie.

Also competing for the big award are Adam Hills, Carrie Bickmore, Asher Keddie and Home and Away’s Steve Peacocke.

The Nine Network has received 37 nominations, withHouse Husbands stars Firass Dirani and Julia Morris nominated for most popular actor/actress and Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War star Lachy Hulme nominated for most popular and outstanding actor.

The ABC followed with 32 nominations, the Ten Network with 28 and Channel 7 with 17.

One nomination that’s raised eyebrows is The Voice mentor Joel Madden as most popular new male talent.

The Good Charlotte rocker has a highly established global music career however made his Australian television debut last year.

The 2013 Logie Awards will be held on Sunday 7th April at the Palladium Room at Melbourne’s Crown Entertainment Complex with an international line up of performers including Bruno Mars, Michael Buble, Birdy and Olly Murs.
