Offspring star Asher Keddie took home the gold at last night’s Logie Awards, beating out the likes of Hamish Blake, Andy Lee and Adam Hills for the coveted award. She also nabbed the silver gong for most popular actress.

Other big winners included House Husbands for Most Popular Drama, Howzat! Kerry Packer’s War for Most Outstanding Mini TV Series, Hamish Blake for Most Popular Presenter and Puberty Blues starBrenna Harding for Most Popular New Female Talent (who gave a cute, tear-jerking speech).

The most surprising victory of the night was The Voice judge Joel Madden, who took home the Most Popular New Male Talent award.
